The Emergency Contact option is already widely used on our iPhones. Imagine, if you get injured or pass out on the road, others might not be able to call your family from your iPhone because you have set a password, Face ID on the device. So, honestly, it's quite necessary to set up an emergency contact on your iPhone right now, but some users still don't know how to do it. Hence, in this article, we will introduce the most effective methods for you. You can give them a try following the steps below.
1. Open the Health app.
2. Tap the Medical ID tab in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
3. Tap Edit under Emergency Contact.
4. Scroll down, and tap the green “+” button next to “Add Emergency Contact” to add the control.
5. Your contact list should appear on your iPhone's screen.
6. Tap the name of the contact you want to assign as an emergency contact.
7. Choose your relationship with this person.
8. The contact will be added as an emergency contact and should appear in your list of “Emergency Contacts.”
Meanwhile, if you have a lot of contacts on your iPhone, you may need to manage them to keep everything in order. However, it's impossible to edit or add contacts one by one, which may take too much time. To make things easier, we recommend you use a free iPhone content manager, which can help add, delete, and edit contacts with just a few clicks. On the other hand, if you want to transfer contacts from one iPhone to another without iTunes, this tool can also do you a favor.
The following will show you how to edit iPhone contacts from computer with MobiMover.
Step 1: Connect your iPhone to the computer (Mac or PC), launch MobiMover, and choose Content Management > Contacts.
Step 2: Now, you can see the contact list on your iPhone. Click the one you want to edit. (As shown in the picture below, you can also use MobiMover to transfer contacts to/from your iPhone, add new contacts to the device, or delete contacts from the iPhone.)
Step 3: After you click on the contact you want to edit, feel free to change or add information as you please.
In addition to contacts, MobiMover also supports other file types, like photos, videos, music, ringtones, messages, and more. So, you can use it to put music on your iPhone or save iPhone text messages to your computer.
