The easiest way is to check which edition of Windows 7 you're running.

Here's what you need to do:

    Click the Start button. Right-click "Computer." Select "Properties."

You'll see something like this:

In the "System" section, you'll see an entry for "System Type" that will tell you whether you're running the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7.
