Transfer your meetings, webinars, and cloud recordings manually to a new computer
With its useful features, such as meetings, webinars, and cloud recording, Zoom has proved particularly attractive for our purposes.
Zoom is a company that specializes in providing mobile and cloud-based video conferencing software for users. The Zoom video conferencing app is compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android operating systems and can connect with H323/SIP-based conference room systems. It can support up to 1,000 high-definition audio and video participants in a single meeting.
So let's look at the automatic methods first.
The main function of Todo PCTrans is to transfer data to a new laptop. In the latest version, we've added Zoom to the migration list. This allows you to move Zoom to another PC without reinstallation when changing computers or migrating it to a different drive.
1. Download the Todo PCTrans Free tool on both computers.
Click the download icon, and run it on both computers.
2. Locate where it records locally.
You can move your Zoom to an external device before transferring it to another device.
To enjoy advanced features like transferring over 300 apps and unlimited files, you can upgrade to the Pro version.
Step 1: Run the Todo PCTrans tool on both computers
Download the tool Todo PCTrans, and you'll see the PC-to-PC interface.
Step 2: Choose the transfer direction – from the old computer or the new one
"This is a new computer" - transfer all data from the old one remotely to this new one.
"This is an old computer" - Transfer all data from the current old device to the new one.
Step 3: Connect the two computers
1. Select the target computer you want to connect to by its IP address or device name, then click "Connect".
2. Type the target computer's login password, then click OK to confirm.
If the target computer is not displayed, you can also click Add Computer to manually connect by entering the IP address or device name of the target computer.
Step 4: Select apps, programs, and software to transfer to the target computer
1. You choose and transfer the content you want to move to the target PC from your current computer.
2. After selecting the apps and data you need, click on “Transfer” to start the process.
In the same local network, the Computer-to-Computer mode helps you transfer apps
Though online conferencing apps may have moved, you might still see Microsoft Office, Adobe, Windows Live Mail, and Dropbox on your transfer list. If you need to change the install location for these apps, we're happy to recommend how to transfer Microsoft Office to a new computer.
Step 1: Log in to the Zoom client.
Step 2. Select Conference.
Step 3: Click on the Recorded tab and select Open.
You'll see the recording files in the folder. Upload these to a cloud service (like Dropbox or Google Drive), and you can download them on another device.
Step 4: Download Zoom again from the official website.
Zoom does not allow multiple users to share an account. If you delete a user, you can transfer their meetings, webinars, and cloud recordings to another user.
