Step 1: You can store the chosen programs on a USB device or external hard drive.
Step 2: Connect the new device to the new drive, and install the HP Smart app.
Step 3: Change the program settings to your liking.
With OneDrive cloud transfer, you can migrate files and apps to Windows 10/11 using HP Smart. This way, you can shift your apps and files from your old computer to the new one running Windows 11 by simply logging in with the same OneDrive account.
Step one: log in to OneDrive with a Microsoft account and upload the program folder from your hard disk to the online storage service.

Step 1. Go to 123.hp.com (for Android, Apple iOS, and iPadOS), the HP Smart area in the Microsoft Store (for Windows), or the HP Smart area in the Mac App Store (for Mac) to download the HP Smart app.
Step 2. Install the HP Smart app on your device, and then set up the printer. If you open HP Smart for the first time, the app attempts to detect and set up the printer.
If you've used HP Smart before, tap Add Printer or the Plus symbol to find your printer.
Step 4: Enter Wi-Fi setup mode. Most printers with a touchscreen display or menus: Navigate to the Wireless or Setup menu, choose Network setup or Settings, then select Restore Network Settings to restore previous network configurations.
Step 5. After the printer is fixed, use the HP Smart app to print, scan, copy, or fax.
If you're still concerned about moving the HP Smart app to a new computer, refer to the three options listed in the post. If the customer wants to migrate only one application, the best option is to manually move the HP Smart using a USB.
