Step 1. Go to 123.hp.com (for Android, Apple iOS, and iPadOS), the HP Smart area in the Microsoft Store (for Windows), or the HP Smart area in the Mac App Store (for Mac) to download the HP Smart app.

Step 2. Install the HP Smart app on your device, and then set up the printer. If you open HP Smart for the first time, the app attempts to detect and set up the printer.
